Amelia Rico and Art Ornelas
Television actress, Amelia Rico (Grey’s Anatomy, 1923, Plur1bus, Doctor Odyssey, Dark Winds), will be teaching the basics in acting and mentoring the students to write an original film script. Award-winning director, Art Ornelas, will be in charge of crew and production, instructing everyone on how to operate the cameras, lights and sound to capture their original films. Award winning Director/ Screenwriter/Lead Editor and SAG-AFTRA TV/Film actor, Amelia Rico, has starred alongside Helen Mirren in 1923, as everyone’s favorite witch to hate in Dark Winds and had some fun as a deadpan first responder in both Mo and Walker. Her most cherished on set memories are being hugged tightly by Kevin McKidd on the set of Grey’s Anatomy and kissed on the cheek by Indiana Jones himself, Harrison Ford!

Art Ornelas is our DP and Lead Photographer and directed our award-winning short film, Vilomah. His work has been published in The New York Times, American Theatre Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and the Houston Chronicle. His most cherished memories are walking the red carpet with his award-winning lead actress and daughter, Artemis Rico and chatting with the legend himself, Harrison Ford.
